Role of the United States in Creating a New World

Susilo Bambang YudhoyonoIndonesian President, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 evening during a speech at Harvard University, Boston, opined that the United States can help create "new world" filled with the harmonization between human beings. Grains of thought is expressed in response to the President delivered a historic speech President Barack Obama in Cairo, Egypt, a few months ago.

"Our goal is the same: to see more in the relationship between Western and Islamic worlds and to map the way forward. President Obama spoke in Cairo for a new beginning between the United States and the Muslim world. Today, I say that we can rediscover the world," said Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the before hundreds of students and academics at the John F Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

New world mentioned Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is a world filled with the spirit of attachment, not conquest, the sufficiency - not poverty, and global mindset undermined antarperadaban hostilities and clashes. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono believes that America with all its resources, including in economic, social and technology, can contribute to the new world. Role of the United States in creating a new world is the right step to help create a more tangible relationship.
