Currently a variety of tablet sizes amid enliven the mobile device market. But of the many variants, it turns the tablet with a smaller screen is more in demand by consumers.
eBay, in collaboration with Conlumino research firm to conduct a survey of UK consumer interest in the tablet size and usefulness. The survey results revealed that 60 percent of respondents prefer smaller tablets.
The findings of this survey indicate that small tablets are more popular and widely used for online shopping, survey, conducted this month involving 1,205 tablet owners in the UK.
On the other hand, 60 percent of tablet buyers on eBay were also choose the size of a small tablet. It is also known that 80 percent of respondents use their devices for shopping, while 60 percent of them admitted that tablets help them buy gifts for the holiday season this year.
When you're shopping online, 71 percent of respondents do when you're relaxing on the couch and 50 percent on the bed.

Popularity Phablet in 2014
Social demand for mobile devices is expected to change from tablet to phablet (phone - tablet). The device is typically 5 to 6.9 inch size is predicted to be even more popular next year.
Technalysis Research, claims that the popularity of smaller tablets will fade in 2014. In contrast, devices with screen sizes between 5.7 inches and 6.4 inches will steal the show.
The vendor launched many smartphones and tablet devices with the screen size. For example, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Mega series, the Nokia Lumia 1520 and 1320, and the Sony Xperia Z with Ultra.
Most of the smartphones sold in 2013 had a 5 inch screen or larger. The research also claims that phablet sales predicted to reach 175 million units next year, while the 7-8 inch tablet as much as 165 million. Separately, Pew Internet Research conducted a study with the result that consumers will easily focus shifted and tablet enthusiasts will likely glance at the tablet with a large screen and the convertible 2 in 1, due to weakness in have a mini tablet.

Material Asteroid High Sales Value
The company carries asteroid mining project, Deep Space Industries some time ago had echoed the call of their work space rock would be a gold fields in 2015. Large asteroid that reportedly will cross the Earth in February 15, 2013 also encouraged them to estimate the value that can be generated when the asteroid was successfully mined. Asteroid 2012 DA14 which supposedly can be seen also in the sky Sumatra, Indonesia has the minerals and metals, which when cashed worth USD195 billion.
Scientists have warned that the space rock will be approached and crossed at the closest distance to the Earth. Deep Space Industries fairly certain that some of the material in the asteroid mining is not a bad idea. They estimate, 2012 DA14 contains 5 percent of the water that can be recovered. Of course the water element, reportedly has generated USD 65 billion.
In addition to the element of water, iron, nickel and other metals estimated at USD130 billion. However, valuation is still a rough calculation. Scientists need to look at how well the composition of the asteroid or size. However, it also proves asteroid mining operations more complicated. However, reportedly, track asteroid 2012 DA14 was in a position that is less appropriate to do mine asteroids. In addition, the required energy to pursue the asteroid's trajectory.

Potentially Habitable Planets
Researchers from Pennsylvania State University (USA) examines the habitable zone in space for Earth-type planets. Using research related to water and carbon dioxide molecules, the researchers concluded that the planet could still potentially habitable planet when it was far from the sun.
This research is important for planning future projects to find extrasolar planets. But it seems that researchers are still constrained on technology, the author's work, as well as criticism of the study.
One of the points driving to the search for planets outside the solar system is dependent on what researchers have discovered at this time. Total foreign planet, which is called the new world has been growing rapidly.
Nearly 700 objects identified as exoplanets around stars. More than 2,000 candidates found by Kepler space telescope.
The position of the planet called habitable zone, a selection criteria. The zone is a region of space around a star, where the mass of the Earth and the planets of similar composition atmosphere (nitrogen, water, carbon dioxide) can raise liquid water on its surface.
Scientists say there is no liquid water on the surface of the Earth's two nearest planets, namely Venus and Mars. Not only the temperature of the star, but also the composition and properties of the atmosphere affects the habitable zone boundaries.
This study also used data from the distance between the Earth to the Sun, which is 1.5 million kilometers. The team of researchers from Pennsylvania State University, NASA, Washington University and the University of Bordeaux dubious previous research models in 1993.
The previous model predicts that border the habitable zone of the Sun internal and external, are between 0.95 and 1.67 astronomical units. Researchers now want to update these inaccuracies, using the absorption of solar radiation.
Microsoft's Xbox Studios in Los Angeles
Microsoft is preparing to make a new Xbox game studios in Los Angeles. In this case, Microsoft will use the studio to create interactive content, as a form of investment in the latest generation of gaming and entertainment to keep the power of the Xbox.
Making a studio in Los Angeles, showing the concept of integration between games and Hollywood as an interactive entertainment in the digital age. Xbox is a new studio in the news will be led by Nancy Tellem, who previously served as president of the Entertainment and Digital Media. Studio, named Xbox Entertainment Studios is claimed will create original interactive content with a vision.
This step up consistently, and with great confidence, content to Xbox offer will become more widespread. Microsoft Studio in Soho has been experimenting with interactive content such as projects Kinect Sesame Street TV, and this shows that Microsoft is investing more in its content in this area.
Microsoft has sold 76 million Xbox 360 consoles worldwide to date. Kinect motion sensor also has sold around 24 million since 2010, and the Xbox Live community has grown to 46 million subscribers, up 15 percent from year to year.
According to data from Experian Simmons third party Media Survey, approximately 38 percent of Xbox Live users in the U.S. 54 percent are women. Since July, Microsoft claims Xbox Live can burn calories 200 million users using Xbox and Kinect for exercise and activities such as Nike Kinect Fitness, as well as training programs or other games.

The Flow of Water Found on Mars
Mars rover robot creations National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) found evidence related to the flow of water that have occurred on Mars. These findings provide evidence of the early existence of water on the red planet. This evidence suggests the rocks that once fed by the water and this is the first of its kind. "From the size of pebbles, we interpret the water was moving about 3 feet per second range in depth from ankle to hip," says scientist William Dietrich University of California at Berkeley.
He said many studies reveal about the channels on Mars with a variety of different hypotheses about the flow of water in it. This is the first time that scientists see gravel carried by the flow of water on Mars. Curiosity found this site which is located between the northern part of Gale Crater and the base of Mount Sharp. Initial image captured through the orbit of Mars may provide additional understanding of these pebbles.
A captured image shows alluvial material washed by the water and move to the edges. Spherical shape of some of the rock shows it moving from a distance, where the channel called Peace Vallis pointed to the alluvial fan. The number of channels in the alluvial fan indicates that water flows in continuous motion. The flow was also repeated each time in a long time, not just once or over several years.

The New Species of Leaf-Nosed Bats
New bat species discovered in Vietnam, has a peculiar shape of the face with hair and bumps that resemble leaves. When scientists first saw leaf-nosed bats Griffin in Chu Mom Ray National Park in 2008, almost any animal that has been identified with known species, the large leaf-nosed bats, said Vu Dinh Thong, from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology in Hanoi. However, Vu Dinh Thong and his team, thinking that the bat is still a chance as a species new to science, using nets to catch some of these domestic animals. "When arrested, some bats with similar body size, the large leaf-nosed bats, reacted very angrily. Leaf-nosed bat, but Griffin seems to be quite soft," he said.
The team noted the frequency sonar that bats were captured and took tissue samples from several specimens. The results revealed that the bats removing the call at a different frequency of large leaf-nosed bat, which suggests that the specimen was a new species.
According to researchers, the genetic results confirm that the species was named Hipposideros griffini then it has different genetics. So far, only little is known about Hipposideros griffini. Like all leaf-nosed bats, mammals, newly discovered to have a strange shape that resembles a leaf in his nose.
But the peculiar shape of the nose was actually serves to help in sending sound waves and listening to the echoes that bounce off objects, including prey. Bats are also found only in two national parks, although further research may reveal more about the creature's habitat.

Enjoy the Beauty of the Ocean Floor with Google Earth
Divers and conservationists throughout the world ocean will soon be able to enjoy the beauty of coral reefs in the Great Barrier Reef, the largest collection of coral reefs in the world without the need to dive. All this thanks to Google Earth, which is working with its partners to offer a sea view in a different way. A research survey will map the Great Barrier Reef, which has not been done before, and allow virtual divers to enjoy the unique ecosystem through 360-degree angle.
Coral reef ecosystems are rarely seen and under the sea, photographed and mapped by a pair of unmanned underwater camera that has been done since September. "Most people who dive in the Barrier Reef is only up to a depth of approximately 20 meters. But 93 percent of coral reefs that there lies between 30 and 100 meters, where light can still penetrate and rarely delved into this area," says Ove Hoegh-Guldberg from the University of Queensland
Hoegh-Guldberg, who led the research project, and is a partner of Google, NGOs and sponsored by British insurer, Catlin. The pictures will be posted on Panoramio, Google Earh, Google Maps, YouTube and viewed in the viewer who made 360 degrees. With this project, said Hoegh-Guldberg, they will seek the help of a global audience in assessing the health and composition of the reef.
"The public can help us to more closely study and detail about the amount of coral and fish. Hopefully this virtual diving experience will raise awareness about climate change," he explained. "It also enables people and scientists to discover which species migrate as a result of climate change on their sea lanes," said Hoegh-Guldberg. New views of the sea has been unveiled at the World Ocean Summit in Singapore on Thursday, and for the first time has successfully brought together leading economists, CEOs and scientists.

Corpse Flower Blooms in Bogor
Rare corpse flower Amorphophallus Titanum species that grow in the Bogor Botanical Gardens in Indonesia will soon bloom. "Amorphophallus titanum will bloom in a matter of days. Beginning in February may be the perfect bloom," said Dra. Sofi Mursidawati M.Sc., researcher at the Bogor Botanical Gardens. This corpse flower blooms are rare events. The same new plant will bloom again within the next 4 years. Amorphophallus titanum flower that blooms this time is a collection that was taken from the territory of Lahat, South Sumatra in 2009. Inflorescence is the first time for the individual during the growing interest in the Bogor Botanical Gardens.
Meanwhile, the corpse flower inflorescence at the Bogor Botanical Gardens was the umpteenth time. Noted, carrion flower inflorescence has occurred since 1942. Currently Amorphophallus titanum is still a bud will bloom with more than 50 cm high. Section protector flowers light green while the cob purple flowers.
Amorphophallus titanum is endemic flower of Sumatra, Indonesia. This interest was first described scientifically by an Italian botanist, Odoardo Beccari, in 1878. This type of carrion flower is just one of 25 types of flowers Amorphophallus genus in Indonesia and 18 species of endemic genera Indonesia.
Researchers from the corpse flower Bogor Botanical Gardens, said, "corpse flower is always interesting to watch because it's always different every individual." For researchers, the corpse flower inflorescence can be an opportunity to examine phenology, for example, how the flowers bloom, specifically the time and direction of inflorescence. Specifically, the corpse flower that blooms this time will be a giant flower preservation study tool. The plan, the preservation program will be conducted through cooperation with South Korea.

Asteroids that Will be a Moon
Along with small asteroids trapped by gravity, and spend more time to circle the Earth, one might say that the asteroid into hundreds of small moon orbiting around Earth. Researchers have long suspected asteroids that pass, sometimes approaching the Earth at a distance close enough to be trapped by gravity. Asteroids is exactly what will be a moon while.Mikael Granvik from the University of Helsinki in Finland, along with his colleagues run a computer simulation, to find the frequency of various near-Earth asteroids, and their likelihood of being caught gravity when approached. To be caught, an object must start out of the orbit is quite identical with the Earth. Team estimates that, on average, an asteroid with a size of 1 yard or 1,000 space rock measuring approximately 4 inches, may be orbiting the Earth.
"There's a lot more than people might think," said Mikael Granvik. These asteroids, generally stay in orbit around the Earth for less than one year. Although the simulations were done by researchers, also expressed some asteroids may have stayed longer.
Microsoft to Kill Windows XP
Microsoft wants Windows XP users to immediately move to the latest version of Windows and proved successful. Therefore, the current number of users of OS XP gone down drastically. According to the research firm, the number of XP users up to December 2011 dropped dramatically. Lots of computer users now have started to be willing to move to Windows 7. In fact, according to research static, users of Windows 7 is almost past the XP users.Currently the distance between the users of Windows XP with other Windows thinning. This is because globally has been a decline of 3.5 percent from December 2011. Moreover, the software giant is known to openly would 'kill' XP in the near future.
For a year now XP users experience a decrease reached 48.8 percent, which is inversely proportional to the increase achieved Windows 7, which jumped 44.5 percent from 27.7 from last year. However it is felt differently by Windows Vista has declined 4.5 percent, from the previous 15.1 percent to 11.4 percent in the desktop OS market globally.

Apple Target Next Year
A new survey by AlphaWise, shows the demand for the iPad and iPhone will be higher than expected. The company is likely to sell nearly 200 million units of smartphones in 2012.Menururt analysis of the survey of Fortune Tech, iPhone sales of all products including iPhone 3G and iPhone 4S will likely be 20 to 30 percent higher than previous estimates for the quarter. The figure shows that the demand increases beyond previous expectations on the device.
This increase will be in Q1 2012. While sales of iPad with a high price is considered not to be affected by the release tablets Kindle Fire, as assumed previously. If the survey results were proven true, then Apple could sell 54 million iPhones in the next quarter and nearly 200 million during the year.
These figures will be 'reading' is good for Apple investors. But the presence of the Asus Eee Pad Transformer which will be launched in the first quarter of next year, seems also to be anticipated as new rival Apple.

Mobile Chipsets are Shipping Worldwide
Jon Peedie Research (JPR), predicts that there will be two billion mobile chipsets are shipping worldwide by the year 2016. From 2 billion chipset, 750 million were earmarked for smart phones, while 869 million will be earmarked for other pieces of feature-phone.While the rest of the other chipsets intended for tablets 300 million pieces, e-book reading device 100 million units and 91 million pieces of gaming consoles. For this type of chipset it, JPR says that nearly all chipsets will be able to display 3D graphics and supports high-level camera.
JPR also predict chipset supplier companies will continue to increase until the year 2016. "Currently there are only four to five companies, for the year 2016, may be increased up to 16 pieces," said JPR. "All the chipset will share the same functionality and capabilities. No one will attack each other, at least in the near future," said the JPR.
Although two billion chipsets looks quite a lot, JPR said that 1.5 billion chipsets will ship in late 2011, so it is not a drastic jump. Also uncertain whether the feature-phone still will dominate the world market in 2016, considering the magnitude of the supply of chipsets for these devices.

New found Invisible Planet
Researchers from Harvard University have discovered a new planet called Invisible Planet. A lead researcher Sarah Ballard says, the planet is actually not really invisible, but scientists at Harvard concluded its presence on the pretext of "Planet can exert influence of other planets"."Invisible Planet was discovered near the constellation Lyra constellation which lies 650 light years from Earth. Then we called him Kepler 19c," Sarah said. Kepler 19c, further Astronomy Harvard graduate student, have an irregular orbit, the planet's rotation is completed during the five minutes atu more than five minutes.
"This shows, that other planet's gravity could pull 19c Kepler orbit, causing inconsistencies in length. Means Kepler 19c intimidated by the other planets," she concluded. She said the discovery of Kepler 19c is a powerful example of the first discovery of a method that previously seemed absurd even considered just a theory.
"As already explained, the method that is to see the new planet's orbit is compared with the nearest planets. This method was used by astronomer Alexis Bouvard that identifies the Neptune 150 years ago," said Sarah. To note, the discovery of Kepler 19c is part of NASA's Kepler mission, which was launched in 2009 with the primary mission of finding alien planets throughout the galaxy.

Aerosols Reduce Global Warming
Airborne particles from volcanoes and the burning of fossil fuels can offset third of the hot sun caused global warming. A study at Boston University conclude that the use of fuel oil are soaring in China could offset the effects of carbon dioxide. "Since 2000, the aerosols in the stratosphere has led to levels of climate warming slows down and we will not see it without it," said John Daniel, physicists at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).Over the last decade, the number of aerosols in the stratosphere in a country continue to rise. Apart from the use of fuel oil it is also caused by smoke from the eruption of Mount Merapi. Researchers have analyzed several independent sources of satellite and ground some type of instrument. They found a clear increase of aerosols in the stratosphere since 2000.
"Aerosols in the stratosphere has increased by leaps and bounds and shocking at the time, almost doubled during the decade. Increased aerosols since 2000, implying a cooling effect of about 0.1 watts per square meter. This is enough to offset the heat of the sun at 0.28 watts per square meter due to the effects of global warming from increased carbon dioxide during the same period, "added Daniel, told TG Daily, Saturday (23/07/2011).
The increase in a decade daam aerosols in the stratosphere can be caused in part by the resources of nature such as volcanic eruptions are smaller. Then some human activity, which memancaran gases such as sulfur dioxide, which reacts in the atmosphere to form aerosol particles reflective.
If this continues to increase, then the temperature will not heat up quickly. But if they decline, then the temperature will rise even faster. "The background of Aerosols in the stratosphere more than we thought. The last decade has shown us that the eruption of Mount Merapi is not too large so that the aerosol becomes an important part of the climate," he added.

New Species of Forest Rats
Seven new species of forest rats was discovered by scientists in Luzon, the Philippines's largest island, says a new study suggests. The discovery of this new species of forest rats, increased the number of native animals on the island of Luzon.According to scientists, the seven strains of mice is part of a subgenus called Megapomys, which is part of the genus Apomys. These mice are relatively large, weighing approximately 65-110 grams. Two of the seven new types of mice were found on Mount Tapulao in Zambales Mountains, and two are found on Mount Banahaw, an active volcano in the Philippines, two more in the mountains Mingan in the province of Aurora, and the remainder was found in the mountains of Sierra Madree in northeast Luzon.
"These mice were indeed found in the mountainous region. They usually avoid humans and are harmless. They used to eat earthworms and seeds," said Lawrance Heaney of the Filed Museum in Chicago. Lawrance said that despite its small size, these animals are an important part of animal diversity in the Philippines.

Quick Reaction to See the Color red
According to a recent study published in the U.S. journal, Emotion, human reaction to be faster and stronger when he saw red. The research team measured the reaction of students and students in two different experiments. In the first experiment, 30 students in grade 4 to grade 10 were asked to open the latch of the iron. Before doing so they read out loud the number of participants each of which is written with crayon-colored red or gray.Meanwhile, in the second trial, approximately 46 students asked to clench their hands as tight as possible while reading the word 'hit' on a computer screen. The article has latas red, blue or gray. In each experiment, the red color was able to increase the reaction of each participant. Students who read the red background able to clench their hands with maximal strength than those who read the background blue or gray.
While in the first trial, not just the level of force increases, but the reaction rate also increased when participants saw red. This discovery could be aimed at applications in the field of sport or other activity that requires such a reaction, such as lifting weights. But the researchers warned that energy is produced from red color that tends to not last long.
Dangers of Internet Content for Children's Development
Rapid advancement of technology certainly provide benefits for humans on this earth. Beneath a myriad of advantages, it turns out there is the very danger for children's development, especially those fond of using the computer. A series of content presented via computer is not feasible practically consumed by children. For example porn videos and music videos that should be enjoyed by adults. Two things can affect your child's mental and behavior. To avoid this, all parents must control and direct their children when opening the computer. More attention from parents can prevent children to try to access a variety of adult videos. On the other hand, many parents have little time to guide their children when using computers. You as a parent really does not need to worry. There are other strategies that can be applied when you are busy with the working world.
In this condition, then the parents should be able to buy a computer, device or Internet service with adult content are blocked. Because very risky to give confidence to the child to control himself. The study was released Reg Bailey, Chief of the Union Mother, in addition to adult video content, your child is safe from ad also ensured that smells of sexuality.
Understandably, most ads, videos and television programs present sexual pictures wallpaper close to the children. In addition, support is also needed from the internet service providers to help parents block adult content. Then develop a better way, for example by checking the user's age.

New Fish Species in the Sea of Bali
Scientists from Conservation International claims to have discovered eight new species and one new species of coral in the waters of Bali. The new species, including eels and fish, damsel, that is a small fish with bright colors that are often wandering around stoney corals."We have conducted marine surveys in 33 places around the island of Bali. We have identified 952 fish, coral, and of which we found 8 new species,"said lead researcher Mark Van Nydeck Erdmann. The survey was conducted in several well-known tourist areas like Bali Tulamben is famous as the favorite dive sites, Nusa Dua, Gilimanuk and Pemuteran, at depths of 10 to 70 kilometers.
Mark claims to have not provided a name for the eight new species. But they are included in the genus Siphamia, Heteroconger, Apogon, Parapercis, Meiacanthus, Manonichthys, Grallenia and Pseudochromis. In the survey for two weeks, the research team also discovered a new species of coral reef Euphyllia or foam

Uncovered the Secret of Happiness Gene
Scientists from the London School of Economics and Political Science, United Kingdom have successfully identified a gene trigger a sense of happiness which is called the 5-HTT. Genes are happy to help nerve cells to recycle the compound serotonin, known to relate to mood and depression. The study mentions 5-HTT is present in the form of 'old' and 'short'. Individuals who have two kinds of variants of the 'old', one from each parent, tend to have many more happy gene content of the other combinations. The smaller the feeling of happiness is for people born with two types of short genes .
"It has long been suspected that the 5-HTT plays an important role in human mental health, but this is the first study that could explain this gene," said Jan-Emmanuel De Neve from London School of Economics and Political Science, who led the study.
"Our results reveal the relationship between happiness and the 5-HTT gene," he added. The results are reported in the Journal of Human Genetics. For this study, scientists analyzed the genetic data of about 2,500 people. "Finding this gene helps us to explain why some people tend to be happier than others," said Jan-Emmanuel.
