This new recommendation feature, he said, is expected to resolve such problems. "You will receive a personal recommendation when several people in your network follow the same user or mem-'favorites' or her 'retweet' tweet the same," said Venu.
This feature will be implemented in the Twitter app for Android and iPhone. Previously, the system was tested through the account @ MagicRecs. In that experiment, @ MagicRecs will send Direct Message (DM) to the Twitter users who follow your account download it. The DM contents are recommendations related to the user or tweets that are considered suitable by the follower.
While in practice, the recommendations will appear in the form of a notification or notice delivered Twitter app for Android and iOS. Surely, said Venu, this notification can be controlled by the user. Through the settings in the application, the "Recommendations" can be turned off or on.

Facebook Shutting Down on March 15 ?
PALO ALTO, CA –Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook will be shut down in March. Managing the site has become too stressful. “Facebook has gotten out of control,” said Zuckerberg in a press conference outside his Palo Alto office, “and the stress of managing this company has ruined my life. I need to put an end to all the madness.”Zuckerberg went on to explain that starting March 15th, users will no longer be able to access their Facebook accounts. “After March 15th the whole website shuts down,” said Avrat Humarthi, Vice President of Technical Affairs at Facebook. “So if you ever want to see your pictures again, I recommend you take them off the internet. You won’t be able to get them back once Facebook goes out of business.”
Zuckerberg said that the decision to shut down Facebook was difficult, but that he does not think people will be upset. “I personally don’t think it’s a big deal,” he said in a private phone interview. “And to be honest, I think it’s for the better. Without Facebook, people will have to go outside and make real friends. That’s always a good thing.”
Some Facebook users were furious upon hearing the shocking news. “What am I going to do without Facebook?” said Denise Bradshaw, a high school student from Indiana. “My life revolves around it. I’m on Facebook at least 10 hours a day. Now what am I going to do with all that free time?”
However, parents across the country have been experiencing a long anticipated sense of relief. “I’m glad the Facebook nightmare is over,” said Jon Guttari, a single parent from Detroit. “Now my teenager’s face won’t be glued to a computer screen all day. Maybe I can even have a conversation with her.”
Those in the financial circuit are criticizing Zuckerberg for walking away from a multibillion dollar franchise. Facebook is currently ranked as one of the wealthiest businesses in the world, with economists estimating its value at around 7.9 billion. But Zuckerberg remains unruffled by these accusations. He says he will stand by his decision to give Facebook the axe.
“I don’t care about the money,” said Zuckerberg. “I just want my old life back.” The Facebook Corporation suggests that users remove all of their personal information from the website before March 15th. After that date, all photos, notes, links, and videos will be permanently erased.

Several sites stated that Facebook will be shut down is a false rumor. This rumor I got from some sites, but whether the rumors were true?. So far in My Facebook account there was no warning about it as reported from several websites.
It seems we must wait for an official statement of Mark Zuckerberg through the Facebook site if it is deemed necessary, and if it were true then surely we will see alerts on our Facebook account. So we just wait what will happen some time in the future on Facebook.

Dangerous Trap of Shortening URLs
One of the advantages of the most popular in Twitter is information that can be disseminated very quickly. Unfortunately, this situation is misused by cyber criminals. According to security firm Symantec, they just check the Twitter main page for the topic that is becoming a trend, which shows a message that has several times announced. Attackers choose one of the tweets that contains a short URL, which is replaced with a another short URLs, which point to a malicious website.Because the text in the message is the same, users do not know that the new short URL to point to a malicious website, not to the original news. Therefore some links will follow wherever it leads, and this can not be avoided. Although not impossible, it is difficult to say whether a post is genuine or not just by looking. The user may want to install the browser which leads to a short URL.
Nevertheless, it is very difficult to identify a malicious link, because of frequent a website legitimate hijacked and transformed into host drive-by download attacks. Therefore, it is a good idea if you patched computers and software - including its browser and has installed security software, so do not become victims of drive-by download attacks. Twitter also says that they are working actively on other features that they believe will enhance the safety and security of users.

Internet is More Reliable than a Friend
The Internet is a borderless world which is also the most extensive public spaces. But you are announcing, today people have more confidence to tell their secrets on the internet compared with their own friends. From 3,000 correspondents surveyed indicated that the average adult does not think twice before entering some very personal details about himself when registering on social networking sites. In real life most of them will not trust their friends to give your PIN number, for example. They are just to add more information about him/her on Facebook or Twitter. According to NetApp as well, with a good 86 percent caring for them and not letting the secret PIN number to friends and acquaintances, and only 5 percent of which reveal some important infornasi to those closest.
Compare with information on the Internet, more than 60 percent gave their birth date on your favorite social site. 50 percent of online users to let all visitors know the status of their relationship, with 30 percent adding a partner for all to see. Commenting on this, Paul Wooding, head of UK Public Sector for NetApp, call this irony.
